Africa
Pilates, Dance & Yoga Teacher
I am of Spanish and English heritage. At the age of 16, I embarked on a journey to London to pursue my dreams of becoming a dancer. I earned my Contemporary Dance degree from Trinity Laban, where I developed a profound connection to movement. My studies at Laban transcended the mere memorization of dance steps, guiding me to inhabit the present moment and space through movement.
I further refined my craft through an intensive training course with the Jasmin Vardimon Dance Company Program. This transformative experience endowed me with invaluable skills in theatre, authenticity, creativity, and performance. Additionally, my extensive dance training allowed me to embody the 34 exercises of Pilates, inspiring me to attain a Level 3 Mat Pilates certification with HFE. I came to understand that Pilates practice extends beyond dance preparation; it is about honing exercises that emphasize alignment, balance, and core strength (ABC).
My professional journey is enriched by my passion for working with children. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of teaching dance to individuals of all ages, including yoga and mindfulness practices for children. My ultimate goal is to ensure that people not only enjoy but also profoundly benefit from a deeper understanding of movement.

Juana
Pilates Teacher
I’m from Recife, in the northeast of Brazil, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy and completed my Pilates training course — apparatus, mat, and accessories.
I’m passionate about movement and about understanding (or at least trying to!) how the body works, and how the environment and emotions affect it. I have a background in gymnastics, volleyball, dance and acroyoga (taught it for 2 years), and I used to work as a massage therapist as well.
I discovered the Pilates method during my final year at university and immediately fell in love! I decided to complete the training, and I’ve been working as a Pilates teacher ever since (2012).
I often say that Pilates offers a great foundation (a pillar) for any other activity you do — whether it’s going to the gym, playing sports, dancing, or even just carrying something heavy at home.
To me, it’s all about presence, rhythm (breath), body awareness, functionality, and fun — exploring and getting to know your own body and what it’s capable of. That’s why I like to keep things simple most of the time, giving my students the chance to slow down, feel what they’re doing, and build a solid base before moving on to more advanced movements — all while preventing injuries.Outside the world of Pilates, I love my job at a circus school in Luxembourg, where I also practice aerial hoop and trapeze. I also love dancing, photography, good food, music, and the sea.

My fitness journey began with a combination of cycling, running, and triathlons, with pilates becoming a recent addition. Looking back, I see the wisdom in starting with pilates as a foundation.
Under the guidance of Kelly McKinnon at Corpus Studios, I've achieved my level 2 certification in both Mat and Equipment pilates.
My aim is to support our clients on their fitness journey, helping them unlock their body's full potential. I'm passionate about sharing the transformative benefits of pilates in every class.

Ankita
Pilates & Fitness Teacher
My mantra on living a healthy lifestyle is "Engage in any activity that motivates you to MOVE”.
My instructor journey began in 2015 when I did my first Zumba certification to combine my love for dance and passion for fitness. After that I became a certified Group Exercise Instructor from Aerobics and Fitness Association of America in 2016. My main focus is to incorporate Strength, Conditioning and Stretching as the three most important elements in a class. I am also a licensed Nirvana Fitness Instructor which blends Yoga, Pilates and Breathing to achieve a super-efficient flow of the body & mind.
Conducting classes with hundreds of students over the past 8 years has helped me realize that everyone in a class has different fitness level and it is important that you don’t compare yourself with others. Your competition should always be with “You”. Just work towards getting better.
My other passion is Hiking and during the weekends I love to go on a hike and surround myself with nature. Some of the treks that I have done recently include Everest Base Camp in Nepal, Kashmir Great Lakes and Hampta Pass in the Himalayas.
Let’s work together towards a healthier and stronger tomorrow. See you in the class.

Eva
Professional Triathlete & Pilates Teacher
I’ve been a professional triathlete since 2016, but my love for movement started way before that. Ever since I was a little girl, sport and being active has been a part of who I am. I went to a sports-focused school, where I learned the fundamentals of movement and how important it is to live an active, balanced lifestyle. A life-changing event later led me to spend two years in the BrainCare Center, where I realised how much posture and mindful movement impact recovery and overall well-being. That’s when I discovered Pilates—and it became a turning point. Not only did it help me manage my symptoms, but it also had a huge positive effect on my athletic performance and everyday life. Now, alongside my triathlon career, I’m on the path to becoming a certified Pilates teacher. I’m passionate about helping others reconnect with their bodies and discover that movement can be both healing and empowering. Whether you’re an athlete or just starting your fitness journey, it’s never too late to find what works for you—and most importantly, to have fun while practicing it.

I’ve always loved sports, running in particular. After an injury I learned that knowing how to connect to your body and correctly use it has multiple benefits that carries over to how you move through life.
I realised I would like to help others to also love pilates and see how the benefits translate to the rest of their lives.
I did my BASI comprehensive course (mat and equipment up to advanced level) in Cape Town in 2019. I’ve also done a workshop in teaching pilates to tri-athletes and will soon start with a pre- and post-natal pilates course.
