  • Pilates Mat

    A Pilates mat class is a group exercise session focusing on Pilates principles, performed on a mat.

    You can expect a sequence of low-impact exercises performed on the mat to use gravity, your own bodyweight & small props. The class emphasises controlled movements, core stability, balance, and breath control. You'll work on strengthening and toning various muscle groups, with a focus on the core, back, and hips. 

The instructor may provide modifications for different fitness levels, making the class accessible to both beginners and participants who already have some knowledge and experience of Pilates.

    All our classes are open level and are suitable for beginners part from the sessions that are listed as Intermediate as these are for more advanced students.

  • Pilates Reformer

    Reformer Pilates is a type of Pilates exercise using a specialised equipment called a Pilates Reformer. The Reformer is a frame with a sliding platform and adjustable resistance due to the springs and straps on the reformer.

    In a Pilates Reformer class, expect an introduction to the equipment, guided full-body exercises emphasising core strength and flexibility, adjustable resistance, mindful movement, and a positive atmosphere.

  • Functional Kettlebell

    A Functional Kettlebell class is a fitness class that incorporates dynamic kettlebell exercises into functional training.

    You can expect movements targeting multiple muscle groups, promoting strength, mobility, cardiovascular fitness & some resistance training all at the same time. Common exercises include swings, snatches, cleans, and presses.

    The class enhances overall fitness through a full-body workout suitable for various fitness levels. It is particularly beneficial for improving grip strength and for anyone that struggles with joint pain in the knees and ankle joints due to the movement patterns of the exercises and no jumping exercises.

  • Functional Fitness

    If you get bored easily with group exercise classes then this is a class for you!

    These classes are a full body workout challenging your body and mind in every class. We will incorporate body weight exercises and equipment to enhance your workouts.

    In each class you will experience a workout that includes cardio, strength, endurance and resistance training.

    The aim of the class is to provide a great full body workout that creates calorie and fat burn at a level that is right for you - the perfect complement to your Pilates practice.

  • Functional Boxing

    It’s for Women only! It’s a great all over body exercise, especially good for toned arm muscles, stronger core and quite simply it is a great stress release.

    As well as landing lot's of punches you will also do some knees & kicks and other bodyweight exercises like squats, planks etc.

    You will be taught how to correctly punch, hold the pads and have correct form and posture in all exercises.

    You will learn how satisfying it is to land some great punches and let it all go.

  • Pregnancy Pilates

    Our Pregnancy Pilates class is a specialised exercise program designed for pregnant women, adapting traditional Pilates exercises to accommodate the changes in the body during pregnancy. 

Like in all Pilates classes you can expect to work on core strength, flexibility, good posture, and balance while incorporating modifications for safety, helping expectant mothers to stay active and promote overall well-being during pregnancy.

    Pregnancy Pilates offers benefits such as improved core strength, flexibility, and posture. It enhances balance and stability, reduces discomfort, and fosters a mind-body connection through breathing techniques and lastly helps expected mothers prepare for labour both physically and mentally.

  • Postnatal Pilates

    Our Postnatal Pilates class is a fitness program tailored for individuals who have recently given birth and suitable from 6 weeks post birth or 8 weeks post C-Section.

    You can expect targeted exercises to strengthen the core and pelvic floor muscles as-well as postural muscles which are particularly affected due to the physical changes that occur during pregnancy and after childbirth.

    Led by certified instructors, these classes aim to help women regain strength and flexibility in a safe and supportive environment.

    Once you have been signed off by your doctor or midwife (usually at about 6 weeks after birth) you can come with your new little beautiful bundle to work on feeling good & getting back into shape. Bring a blanket for your little one to lay down next to you whilst we work.

    This is a relaxed class that is adapted depending to you and your baby's needs on the day.

  • Private 1-2-1 Sessions

    A private training session at Thrive offers one-on-one workouts with our trainers. Whether your goal is to enhance performance, rehab from injury or improve fitness, your trainer provides personalized instruction, motivation, and support for safe and effective progress.

    Additionally, our private training can complement any group classes you wish to attend or be used as a great private session as an introduction to any of the group classes.

    A duo training session at Thrive offers semi-private workouts with our trainers, providing personalized instruction, motivation, and support for safe and effective progress. Partnering up adds an element of accountability and makes workouts more enjoyable. What’s better than working out with a friend?!

    Whether your goal is to enhance performance or improve fitness, ourtrainers tailor sessions to meet your needs. Additionally, duo training can complement any group classes you wish to attend or serve as a great semi-private introduction to our classes.
